How did you get started in fitness?
I have always been fit and athletic, so getting into weights came naturally to me I started going to the gym regularly in my early 20’s but only started structured weight training in 2011 -1 year after I started competing, it became an addiction
What is your favorite and least favorite body parts to train?
Definitely legs and glutes.
Do you do any other types of training besides weight training?
Yes absolutely, I love Yoga & Pilates, I have been doing both since 2006. I also love functional training and extreme sports like snowboarding and skiing.
Can you give us a sample of your routine?
I train legs/glutes 2 x weekly, back x 1, shoulders 1-2, arms x 1 and 1-2 x Pilates each week.
What kind of music do you listen to when you are working out?
I listen to so all types of music, love House, R n B. Hip Hop, Chill..
We all have at least one, what is the most embarrassing song on your iPod?
Oh yes there is one! “Believe” by Delta Goodrem! It really touches the heart and inspires A very uplifting track!
What does your diet look like when you are trying to get lean?
I am lean all year round and enjoy a diet rich with wholefoods, I never eat anything processed and I don’t do “dirty cheats”. Since I started enjoying a macro balanced diet in 2013, I no longer crave anything unhealthy.

- Organic chicken and turkey breast

What kind of cardio do you like best and why?
I rarely do any cardio, besides long walks outdoors on a Sunny Sunday- for soul peace! I include steady rate cardio coming in to a show to tighten up a bit more, if need be.
If you could give somebody only one fitness tip what would it be?
Never skip breakfast & never train in the morning on an empty stomach!
Tell us about your biggest fitness influence?
My biggest fitness influence has always been Jamie Eason. She’s a beautiful person inside and out. She has such a unique & feminine physique and a huge heart! Such an inspiration.
Favorite cheat food?
Nutella, hands down!
Do you take any supplements?
I use Whey Protein Isolate & L Glutamine post training and take a multi vitamin, fish oils and vitamin C every morning + magnesium before bed. I am not a huge user of supplements, as nothing beats a balanced diet, but certain supplements can assist in lean muscle gain/maintenance and recovery when training frequently and at a high level of intensity.
What does the future hold for you?
