How did you get started in bodybuilding/fitness?
When I was younger, I started because I want to arrive to my 30`s years old and look good…
What is your favorite body part to train?
I like pretty much training my legs because this part is very important to Latin women… however is a big part in the body, is more difficult create muscle and stay condition, and for women is the only way to eliminate “cellulitis”…
Can you give us a sample of your routine?
Since I start to compete in Bikini division, I training in circuits of upper and lower body combine with interval cardio session, and one day specially for my glutes; the only part of my body I have a hard work is in my calves, this for turn on symmetric my legs.
I have a routine with this sequence:
Monday: Lower body
Tuesday: upper body
Wednesday: rest day
Thursday: lower body
Friday: upper body
Saturday: Glutes
Sunday: rest day
An example of my routine is:
Upper body: Back, biceps, triceps, shoulders and abs in 4 sets with 30 reps each with 5 minutes of interval cardio… don’t training chest, don’t like it, and I think is unnecessary for my situation.
Lower body: Front squat, lounge and pre-training calves in 4 sets with 30 reps each with 5 minutes of interval cardio, after hard work out calves like 10 minutes steadily with large movements and 5 minutes short movements.
Glutes: one leg squat, single-leg deadlift, split squat, cable kickback and Glute Bridge.
What kind of music do you listen to when you are working out?
At first I listen Katy Perry or kind like that, this at effect to saw the Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia Bikini division and watch girls pose at stage with this type of music, but after I research and understand is better working out without music for do real mind-muscle connection.
We all have at least one, what is the most embarrassing song on your iPod?
Maybe my country song…
Who is your favorite physique in the fitness industry?
Have some role models in my list… Jamie Eason, Nathalia Melo, Nicole Wilkings and Ava Cowan.
What does your diet look like when you are trying to get lean?
I try to eat lean every time, but when I try to get lean I move the ration of carbs in my calories day accounts… in a normal situation I eat 40% of protein, 40% of carbs and 20% of fats… but in a competition time I eat 45% of protein, 20% of carbs and 35% of fats.
What kind of cardio do you like best and why?
I like pretty much interval cardio because is short and effective, I like to do it in the outdoors, I love to breath fresh air!!
If you could give somebody only one fitness tip what would it be?
“Adopt a Fitness like a life style…”
Tell us about your biggest bodybuilding/fitness influence?
My biggest fitness influence is Jamie Eason… she is a simple girl with a fitness life style; she have her life around the fitness industry, is a Role Model, is always open mind and fit, follow her in social networks is inspiring… and talk with her even more. She is sexy and classy.
Favorite cheat food?
Homemade burgers and Chow mein.
Do you take any supplements?
Yeah! A lot of them… my list is: whey protein, BCAA (& Amino energy), Beta-alanine, Multivitamins (like Animal Pak, Animal Flex, C), Fat burner (like DymaBurn), Probiotics, Nitix Oxide (Like Razor 8), Full recovery (like Halo), L-Leucine, L-Carnitine, Green Tea, & Garcinia Cambogia.
What does the future hold for you?
I really hope to win a Pro card in bikini division, maybe a business in my country around this industry, and healthy life for do this…
