How did you get started in bodybuilding/fitness?

I was always active as a child, participating in sports such as dancing, horse riding, swimming and little athletics. I joined the gym at around 18 years old and fell in love with weight training! I only entered my first competition in September 2014.

What is your favorite and least favorite body parts to train?

My favourite body part to train would have to be legs. It’s a love haye thingn But they always leave me totally exhausted at the end and sore for days which I love. My least favourite would be my arms because I find they are where I am weakest but I’m working on it.

Do you do any other types of training besides weight training?

At the moment I’m preparing for my next show so my focus is on my weight training and cardio sessions.

Monday: Shoulders
Tuesday: Back/Abs
Wednesday: Rest day
Thursday: Legs/Abs
Friday: Shoulders
Saturday: Biceps/Triceps/Abs
Sunday: Legs

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working out?

I’ll listen to a wide variety of music, from trance music to Eminem. Anything with a good beat or inspirational lyrics really.

What does your diet look like when you are trying to get lean?

Meal 1:
Chicken and brown rice

Meal 2:
White fish, salad and almonds

Meal 3:
Chicken, veggies and almonds
Meal 4:
White fish and sweet potato

Meal 5:
Red meat/turkey, veggies and brown rice

Meal 6:
White fish and salad

What kind of cardio do you like best and why?

I find cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach works best for me when trying to lean down. Plus it leaves me feeling energised for the rest of my day

If you could give somebody only one fitness tip what would it be?

Remember there are no quick fixes, being fit and healthy is a lifestyle!

Tell us about your biggest fitness influence?

My biggest fitness influence would be Larissa Reis. She’s the reason I first started weight training. I remember seeing photos of her and how strong and confident she looked and I thought to myself I want to look and feel like that. Also her positive outlook on life is very inspiring.

Favorite cheat food?

Sushi and Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream, yum!

Do you take any supplements?

Yes I sure do.

What does the future hold for you?

I hope to one day obtain my Pro card giving me the opportunity to compete against the best and to travel around the world, experiencing new places and people. Mainly I just want to be a positive role model in the fitness industry and hopefully inspire others to pursue a fit and healthy lifestyle.
