In this review, we are going to be taking a look at another product by InfoWars Life.
This time we are looking at their Super Male Vitality supplement they sell on their website and that you may see pop up in random Google ads.
InfoWars is a right-wing conspiracy theory website and YouTube channel that is popular among some segments of the political world. They sell a wide variety of supplements and this one is on their list of “hottest items” for whatever that is worth.
So, what does a conspiracy site that said Hillary Clinton ran a sex ring out of a pizza shop know about making supplements? That is what we are going to find out.
Super Male Vitality Initial Thoughts
Looking at their website and the description of the product and it really doesn’t say a whole lot about what it really does except that it “increases vitality”. They mention this over and over but they really don’t go into details about what it does other than just using the generic and somewhat vague “boosts vitality” description.
It doesn’t even say that it increases energy, sex drive or much of anything else. The biggest claim it makes is that it “may help support normal testosterone levels in men”. That’s not really a bold claim and we found the overall description of the product to be very vague which seems interesting considering they use the bold name of Super Male Vitality. That leads us to believe they don’t have much confidence in the product or they don’t know what they are talking about. Either way, it isn’t good.
Let’s take a look at the ingredients and see what this one is really made of.
Super Male Vitality Ingredients
Now it’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty. As with any supplement, the ingredients will tell you how effective it will be. Let’s see what this one is made of.
Tribulus Terrestris – This is an ingredient that used to be pretty popular in testosterone boosters but has been phased out by many manufacturers due to the fact that it doesn’t work. This study, and many others have shown it to be completely ineffective at boosting testosterone or much of anything else.
Suma – This root which is also known as Brazilian Ginseng and it has many benefits including increased testosterone and libido, it is also loaded with nutrients
Ashwaganda – This ingredient is an herb that reduces the effects of stress on the body. This is important because stress can be a real testosterone killer. Keeping cortisol low can be a big help.
Maca – This ingredient is another root that is relatively common in testosterone boosters, it has been shown to improve libido but is not effective for boosting testosterone.
Avena Sativa – This common oat is known to increase testosterone, muscle building, and libido.
Tongkat Ali – This ingredient is an herb from Indonesia that is pretty common in test boosters, it has been shown to boost testosterone by 37% and also lower cortisol levels by 16%.
Catuaba – This ingredient comes from a small flowering tree in the Amazon. It is used as an aphrodisiac and is sold to be used all on its own.
Muira Puama – This is another one from an Amazon tree that helps with sexual dysfunction, improves cognitive function, and can reduce stress.
Now that you see what is in Super Male Vitality, let’s talk about the dosing of these ingredients. As you can see on the supplement label it doesn’t say how much of each ingredient is in the product. That is because this product is what they call a proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is where they mix all of the ingredients into a blend and only tell you what the size of the overall blend is. The problem with these is you have absolutely no idea how much of each ingredient is in there and there is no way to find out.
Super Male Vitality Dosing
While we don’t know how much of each ingredient is in this product we do know that the dose size is 1.21 ml or 1/4 of a teaspoon for all the ingredients combined. This is really a pathetic dosing size especially when you consider it contains 8 active ingredients. This dose isn’t enough to do much of anything no matter how the ingredients are blended.
Another problem with this dosing is that it is only twice a day. We recommend that all supplements that boost testosterone have 3-4 dosings per day. The reason for this is because if you have too much time in between doses your testosterone levels will drop and you won’t get as much out of the product as you should.
Another unfortunate aspect is that a bottle only contains 48 servings which isn’t even enough to last a month.
Super Male Vitality Pricing
The price on this product is $58.95 on their website. This is about average to slightly above average for a product like this. They offer a small savings if you buy in bulk, 2 bottles saves you $5 and 5 bottles saves you $25 overall. It looks like they have free shipping though so that helps.
Super Male Vitality Reviews
When we take a look at their website we find they have almost all positive reviews and it has a rating of 4.5 stars. This isn’t much of a surprise really since almost every company that post reviews on their own site only post the positive ones. One rule of thumb when looking at supplement is not to trust the reviews on the supplements own website. They will typically either post a bunch of fake positive
reviews on their themselves or only approve the positive reviews to be shown and some sites even do both of those things.
When you take a look at the Amazon reviews you get more a feeling of how the product reviews really look. The sad thing is even the Amazon reviews have been proven totally unreliable so you really can’t take that too seriously either but the fact that there are that many bad reviews on Amazon is telling since it’s usually all the good reviews that are fake.
When we take a look around the web at other sources this product gets between 2-3 stars on average which seems about right, maybe a little high. Funny enough we came across a Buzzfeed article where they actually had several InfoWars products analyzed in a lab. Many of the products were found to be ineffective. Their analysis was pretty much the same as what we thought about Super Male Virility, they said it was “most likely safe, but ineffective.”
Super Male Vitality vs Prime Male
When you compare Super Male Vitality to Prime Male there isn’t much of a comparison. Prime male wins easily. While Super Male Vitality may look good with 8 active ingredients Prime Male has 12 active ingredients and they are all in superior doses rather than the wimpy 1.21 milliliter serving you get with Super Male Vitality. That is why Prime Male is our top-rated testosterone booster and is our favorite for guys looking to boost vitality and increase testosterone levels.
Prime Male also has superior dosing with 4 servings per day which is perfect for a testosterone booster and they also have pretty good reviews online as well.
The only area that Super Male Vitality comes out is on price where it is $10 cheaper than Prime Male. However Prime Male offers better deals if you buy in bulk like buy 3 and get 1 free.
Prime Male wins this battle with ease and is a much better buy.
Will Super Male Vitality Work for You?
While the ingredients don’t look too bad except for Tribulus Terrestris which has been proven ineffective. The main problem with this product is the dosing. 1.21 milliliters or 1/4 of a teaspoon isn’t going to get the job done. Another problem is that you only get 2 doses per day which allows for your testosterone levels to drop between servings. The fact that one bottle only last 24 days isn’t too great either. To answer the question of will it work for you, the answer would be probably not. Any effects from this product would be minimal at best.
- Uses effective testosterone, energy and libido boosting ingredients
- Small savings when buying in bulk
- Pathetically small and ineffective dosing
- Uses a proprietary blend
- 1 bottle only lasts 24 days
- Only 2 servings per day allows testosterone levels to drop between doses
- Uses Tribulus Terrestris which has been proven ineffective over and over
Overall Conclusion for Super Male Vitality
Overall the ingredients aren’t really as bad as we thought they might be aside from 1 ingredient that doesn’t work. The main problem is they use a proprietary blend so we don’t know how much of each ingredient is in the product. We only know the size of the dose and it is pretty small so there can’t really be a lot of any of the ingredients listed. This leads us to believe that it won’t do much for you in terms of vitality or anything else.
The independent reviews online seem to be saying about the same thing we are so we are pretty much in line with them if anything we think they might even give this supplement a little too much credit, to be honest.
Definitely do not believe the reviews on the manufacturer website, that goes for every supplement out there, not just this one.
Price-wise this one is pretty much where it should be on the internet, it would be nice if they offered more of a discount for buying in bulk but a lot of others don’t either.
Overall we think you would get little to no benefit if any from this supplement. Check out our best testosterone boosters for supplements we recommend, any of the supplements listed would work much better than Super Male Vitality.
