Leanmode is a fat burning supplement manufactured by Evlution Nutrition, which is based in Florida. It claims to be able to help users shed unwanted pounds quickly and effectively.
These benefits are touted with the promise that the formula is also completely stimulant free.
It’s true that some fat burners can certainly help you to cut excess weight. But most of the time, these products use stimulants to achieve this.
So, can Leanmode really help you melt away fat “stim-free?”
We aim to find out the truth. In this review, we take a long, hard look at Leanmode, to determine if it is worth your hard-earned dollars.
What Is Leanmode?
Leanmode is a stimulant free fat burner, which is designed to help users lose weight and cut fat—fast. It is targeted towards both men and women who are struggling to make progress with weight loss, but who want to avoid stimulants.
Leanmode claims to:
- Elevate metabolism
- Reduce hunger
- Increase energy
- Burn fat
Leanmode is available as either a capsule or a Lean mode powder format. The powder comes in many flavors, including:
- Blue Raz
- Peach Tea
- Furious Grape
- Fruit Punch
If you are struggling to decide between Lean mode powder vs capsules, they are identical, so from an efficacy standpoint, there is nothing in it. Our personal preference is capsules for weight loss just because it is a lot more convenient when you are on the go.
Who Is Leanmode Designed For?
Leanmode doesn’t specify a particular gender whom this product is designed for. The product packaging is very gender neutral, unlike other supplements which can appear very masculine.
The fact that Leanmode is stimulant free means that it may appeal to women. High stimulant weight loss products can cause more side effects in women than men.
The lack of stimulants would likely be welcomed by people who are generally sensitive to these kinds of ingredients. This goes for both sexes.
Overall, the design of the packaging is a little bland. Leanmode features a white label with blue and black text. It is quite minimalist, but that can also be a good thing. Some supplements can have overwhelming labels, swarming in clashing colors.
Regardless of the packaging, Leanmode is intended for use as a weight loss and fat burning supplement—so the label design isn’t terribly important here.
What we want to know is whether or not this product can really deliver on its promises. And the only way to find out is to delve into the contents of this product…
Ingredients in Leanmode
Most weight loss companies will promise the earth to get you to buy into their products. That is just the nature of the marketing world.
Some supplements will sell you an impossible claim, but simply have such a watered-down formula that you will never get the results you were hoping for.
This is why the very first thing you should look at when choosing a supplement is the ingredients label. This is the holy grail when it comes to discovering a product’s real potential.
At first look, we are relieved to see that Leanmode doesn’t hide its formula behind a so-called ‘proprietary blend.’
Such blends are essentially a formal way of saying “we’re not transparent about the strength of our ingredients.”
So, to see the ingredient dosages clearly displayed is a very good start. The first major drawback we can see is that there are only 5 core ingredients and some antioxidants like Turmeric and Cayenne Pepper are not used here.
Here’s the lowdown on the five main ingredients in Leanmode:
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) may sound a little intimidating, but it is a naturally present fatty acid found in meat and dairy products.
This fatty acid is supposed to coerce the body into using fat as an energy source, while also defending the use of lean muscle for fuel.
This helps the user to shed the pounds where it matters, without losing hard-earned muscles. For this reason, CLA is often used in diet products.
Some studies have backed up its effectiveness, but more research is required before we are convinced. Even so, CLA is a popular ingredient, so we are not surprised to see it included in Leanmode.
Garcinia cambogia is one of those ingredients you hear a lot about these days.
It contains a compound called hydroxycitric acid. This affects the chemical receptors in the brain that are responsible for the feeling of hunger.
The ingredient is used in many weight loss supplements, due to its effectiveness. Clinical trials have supported its value for weight loss, so it’s good to see this ingredient used in Leanmode.
500 mg is also a great dosage, sure to help suppress your appetite.
Green Tea Leaf Extract
Green tea is yet another ingredient which is famous for its health-boosting properties. It seems that everywhere you look nowadays, there is a green tea-based product.
It isn’t all hype, though. Green tea has been proven to boost your metabolic rate and promote fat burning, in numerous clinical studies.
It contains a small amount of caffeine, but the real power comes from a special compound called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). This compound supports the oxidation (burning) of excess fat for energy, both during and after exercise.
Green Coffee Bean Extract
Leanmode also contains another ‘green’ ingredient—green coffee bean.
Green coffee isn’t the latest coffee trend, it’s simply standard coffee before it is processed. During roasting, coffee loses a lot of the beneficial compounds present in its green state.
One of these compounds is chlorogenic acid. This compound is known to encourage the use of body fat as an energy source, helping you shed pounds faster.
Green coffee is a science-backed ingredient which is sure to get results. We are impressed to find it used in such a high dose.
Acetyl L-carnitine is a type of amino acid which is manufactured naturally within our bodies. It is crucial to the energy creation process.
Some studies have shown that supplementation with acetyl L-carnitine is beneficial in boosting energy levels which can help you to push that little bit harder during your workout.
Whether this ingredient is as effective as the others is up for debate. Either way, as it’s a naturally produced compound, it is unlikely to do any harm.
However, the large amount included here is perhaps overkill, and robs the supplement of valuable space for more effective ingredients.
While the formula hasn’t disappointed us, there were a couple ingredients we would like to have seen used in Leanmode, including turmeric and raspberry ketones.
Turmeric is a great addition to low stimulant fat burners, as it raises the metabolism without causing jitters.
Raspberry ketones also boost the rate of fat burning throughout the day and during exercise.
Overall though, we think Leanmode has a sound enough formula. We just can’t put it at the top of the pile when it comes boosting your metabolism.

Side Effects with Leanmode
All of the ingredients used in Leanmode have a natural origin, but this doesn’t mean there’s no risk of side effects.
The majority of users shouldn’t have any problems, but it is important to know the possible side effects of some ingredients, so you can be prepared for them.
Garcinia cambogia can cause headaches when you start use. Although this should dissipate after a few days.

Will Leanmode Work for You?
After taking a critical look at this fat burner, we are pretty impressed with its potential. Most of the ingredients are well known and clinically proven to help users cut fat.
The formula is also transparent, so we can clearly see that the doses of each ingredient are large enough to have an impact. If you are considering Lean mode vs Trans4orm, or Lean mode vs Hydroxycut, Leanmode definitely comes out on top.
Overall, we think Leanmode could be a good choice if you are looking for an appetite suppressant, however, we were disappointed that Leanmode doesn’t really include stim free metabolism boosters. There was no Curcumin or Capsaicin present in this supplement
