Increase your foot speed with these two exercises from NFL Pro Bowler Von Miller
Exercise 1: A Skip
How To: Perform a fast pacing skip for a distance of 20 yards. Rapidly raise and lower each knee to 90 degrees one after the other. Swing your arms with force and in unison with your steps. Left arm with right knee, right arm with left knee. Make sure to keep a tall posture with your back straight. Technique is crucial here so stay focused. Perform 5 reps of 20 yards each.
Exercise 2: Ladder, Diagonal Shuffle
How To: Step into the first square of the ladder with your left foot. Quickly follow that with your right foot being placed into the same square. As your right foot lands in the first square, step outside of the first square with left foot. Next, step into the second square with your right foot first followed by your left foot. As your left foot lands in the first square, step outside of the first square with right foot. Continue the same pattern throughout the ladder. Perform 5-10 reps.
